Renaissance Palace of the Marqués de Santa Cruz, Spain’s only Italian-style palace

The Palace of the Marqués de Santa Cruz in Viso del Marqués (Ciudad Real) is an exceptional Italian Renaissance palace built 1587–1595 by order of Álvaro de Bazán, first Marqués de Santa Cruz de Mudela, famed admiral at the Battle of Lepanto.
