Roof Terrace of the Círculo de Bellas Artes, one of the best panoramic views of Madrid

From the roof terrace of the Círculo de Bellas Artes, one of the most spectacular panoramic views of Madrid opens up. Located in the iconic building by Antonio Palacios, inaugurated in 1926 by Alfonso XIII at the intersection of Calle Alcalá and Gran Vía, this roof terrace is a balcony to the heart of the city.

Access to the roof terrace

A modern glass door elevator takes you directly from the lobby to the top floor. The tickets —which include access to the terrace— are purchased at the reception of the Círculo.

Restaurant, bar, and open-air cinema

  • Bar and restaurant: tables, sunbeds, and cushions where you can enjoy brunch, cocktails, and tapas with endless views.
  • Roof cinema: summer film screenings under the stars (June–September).
  • Cultural events: intimate concerts, book presentations, exhibitions, and creative workshops.

The Bronze Minerva

The majestic bronze sculpture of Minerva (3 tons), the Roman goddess of wisdom and the arts, crowns the roof terrace. Supported by a column that transmits its weight to the foundations, she is the silent guardian of the viewpoint.

Amazing views

From this lookout, you can see:

  • Palacio de Cibeles: its white facade and towers stretch to the southeast.
  • Torrespaña: the "Pirulí" stands out on the horizon.
  • Instituto Cervantes: columns and caryatids rise to your height.
  • Gran Vía (northwest): the Metrópolis Building with its dome, and beyond, the iconic Telefónica Building.

Go up to the Círculo de Bellas Artes at sunset, let Madrid light up beneath your feet, and toast with a drink while the city unfolds its light and history before your eyes.
